Privacy Policy

As of November 2026

This English translation is provided for convenience. Only the German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: Clickmatic GmbH, Luisenstr. 64, 76689 Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany. Managing Director: Mike Steiner. Email: kontakt@clickmatic.ai.

2. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. It is delivered via the Frankfurt server region (EU). When the website is accessed, Vercel processes technically necessary data (in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, user agent) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Vercel; where data is transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

3. Cookies, language setting and no tracking

This website does not use any tracking services. On its own, it sets only one cookie, and only when a language is chosen with the DE | EN switch: the cookie “lang” stores the chosen language (de or en) for one year, so that the website appears in this language on the next visit. It contains no other data and is strictly necessary for the language choice the visitor explicitly requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act); no consent is required for it.

Without a stored choice, the homepage shows the language version that matches the browser’s language setting. For this, the server evaluates the language information the browser sends with every request anyway (Accept-Language); nothing is stored in the process (legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Where Vercel Web Analytics is active, it works without cookies and without cross-device identifiers; only aggregated usage statistics are collected (legal basis Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). External content is only loaded after active consent (see section 5).

4. Demo request (contact form)

Anyone who requests a demo of their own AI platform for marketing and sales at no cost via the website submits the following data: name, business email address, company website and, optionally, a desired AI use case. This data is processed to handle the request and to prepare the demo and the agreed meeting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual measures) and is stored in our CRM system HubSpot (see section 5), together with the language of the page on which the request was made. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

5. HubSpot (CRM and meeting booking)

We use HubSpot, a service of HubSpot, Inc., 25 First Street, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA (contractual partner in the EU: HubSpot Ireland Ltd.), to manage requests and book meetings. Our HubSpot account is operated in an EU data center; a data processing agreement is in place with HubSpot.

The meeting booking widget (HubSpot Meetings) is only loaded after the corresponding button has been actively clicked, thereby consenting to the loading (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). When the widget is loaded, data (IP address, browser data) is transferred to HubSpot; HubSpot may set cookies in the process. The data provided when booking (name, email address, chosen time) is processed to hold the meeting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Consent to loading the widget can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by using the page without clicking the button again.

6. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have the following rights towards us with regard to the personal data concerning them: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

There is a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

8. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.
